Highlights
Quality
They have good balance, a long useful life, and are not prone to breakage.
The sustain and overall balance is excellent.
For two days, i would find that the day after tuning i would find the e string had slipped from the bridge.
I’ve since been using the normal tension carbon strings to experiment, but both sets are wildly brighter than any other strings i’ve tried.
Price
I think these strings are a great offering at a great price.
I’m not a classical guy so i was a bit skeptical getting these strings for the money but these have exceeded my expectations.
This time i actually paid to have it done ($20) at our local guitar shop.
Bit overpriced for sure, but maybe its a unique sound for a classical guitar.
Shipping
They arrived on time and with no damage (in shipment) to the contents.
Within a few days i received 2 new complete packages of strings.
Packaging/appearance
I received a package of pro-arte carbon strings that contained 2 low e strings and was missing the a string.
Competitiveness
On my 71 year old esteso, they bring out much more than i've heard from more expensive sets.
That is, a wee bit more bite than exp or pro arté nylon core (ef45).
