Pros & Cons
Pros
This tan colored monofilament has more bite.
Tone is a traditional mellow timbre, similar to dynacore and the standard ej44. But they have a nice mellow tone with some additional brightness in comparison. The tone is the best! Clear and crispy sound.
These are the strings that my teacher recommends and uses himself. Nothing else comes close to the brilliance and variety of tone of these strings. The kicker is that, the lower strings get even better in the next several weeks!
Cons
Nelson's guitar has the same plastic tone to it. Don't like the sound.
Highlights
Quality
These strings have good quality sound compared to other strings that are listed similar price.
I do not stray far from these high quality strings.
Same quality and brand as the local music store, but cheaper.
Be prepared for the extra, alternative slightly golden g string that comes with the set.
