The d'addario nyltech strings actually sound noticeably better than the aquila. It's a spruce top and it’s loud, and now it's loud with a more mellow sound.
D'addario is more generous with their string length than martin, which i appreciate. Had to file nut slot a bit wider for 4th string.
Cons

Replacing the aquila's with the d'addarios was a big mistake. It's almost unplayable - makes it sound like a $10 baby uke designed for toddlers to chew on.

The ukulele these went on is a pacific walnut kala with a laminate soundboard and thus tends to make strings sound dull

That said i want to stress that if you are coming from gut strings these do not stretch nearly as much and some care needs to be taken in installing them on your instrument
