No breakage when installing them. They seem to let my instruments sound their best. They probably just need more time to settle in and soften up when i play. For me these hold up a bit better than ghs.
Cons
Second order this week that came destroyed. These strings are not reliable and broke d strings after 4 times playing. Not durable. Will try a different brand.

I started with elixers and changed to d'addario after experiencing poor quality, loops not being wound proper and breaking way too soon.
Maybe most strings are this good but i'm happy with the medium gauge strings i got.

Before installing i checked the data on the added pressure load from the heavier string weight and decided it would not make a major difference
