I think tapewound is an outdated word

They are very easy on the fingers and also dont scratch the fingerboard yes the roundwounds did leave marks

The taping isnt completely shiny on all strings

These nylon wound strings will still retain some of the brightness of the wound round sounding strings because they are essentially a round wound string that is covered in black nylon
