These are the best sounding bass strings i've ever had! They keep a nice even tension across all the strings on my jazz basses. Great alternative to buying a 5 string set for drop tuning. Works good for tuning to low b on the fourth string.
They maintain their excellent tone even after extended hours of playing, which is a testament to their high quality and durability. Lots of overtones. It really transforms the bass from a muddy mellow sound into a bright, full sound.
Bright, snappy and slappy. Bright given the gauges. They are bright and responsive.
Cons
E string is gigantic and will not fit most basses without enlarging the nut slot. Way too bright and zingy for me.

After tuning my bass for the first time i did not really need to tune again after the first few minutes of stretching out the strings.

The best bass stings, on the market, at a fair price
99 everywhere else, so i snagged 4 packs!
But for $16 it's a good deal so far.
For the money i think they're a good value.

Easy install, well packaged, would buy again.

Although going from standard tuning to a d with the settings theyre had to be some custom work done to the bass

They hold up just fine and sound alright but they certainly are rougher on my fingers more than other strings i’ve used in the past

I had one hiccup with the order in that one of the strings had a very mellow sound so they may have accidentally shipped me one of the flat wound strings

It is easier on the fingers and i went up two notches on the bass pod and it sounded like heavier gauged
