They cost much more than i would normally pay for guitar strings, but i feel i've effectively got a new guitar for well shy of £20.

Just downtune them if they are too taught as flatwounds carry more tension than squeaky roundwounds

I think these are probably really great but the problem is i’m finding them very strange having never played flat wounds before

I also think they might be a bit on the heavy side for me too though maybe i just need to persevere a bit longer to adjust to them

Probably not the most helpful review i think it might just be a case of getting used to them otherwise i would probably be more positive

If i struggle might go for the extra light 10s and if that doesn’t help will have to seek out a round wound that works well for jazz
