Pros

The quality is what you’d expect from d’addario. You sacrifice quantity for a nice packaging. Would definitely buy this rosin again but not in this packaging.

Received defective/broken item. Rosin was dried, chalky, brittle, and unuseable. The rosin is fine just not the container.

Easy to use, effective, and long lasting.

Unfortunately the rosin that was originally provided with their viola fell & met an early dirt filled, shattered demise.

From what i discovered rosin has about a 6 month shelf life.

Price

And this is a good price but not cheap one.

May be a bit pricey and fancy but worth it i feel.

I also love the packaging, it kinda looks like a ring box, which is funny and a conversation starter!

Pleasantly surprised that it arrived in a classy-looking box, perfect for gifting.

The packaging was so cool i didn't have to repackage it as my daughter's gift.

Otherwise, the packaging is nice and seems like a quality product.

As a beginner, i've used 3-4 different brands and this one feels best.
