Pros & Cons
Pros
D'addario's acoustic guitar sound hole tuner is easy to put on and take off. It fits my three favorite acoustic guitars perfectly. The manufacturer recommends removing it when a guitar will be stored for a long time. But don't use ca glue.
Cons
It only goes down to 435. Comes with no directions or instructions on how to change the battery. Takes too long to register what note you are tuning. Great idea but the clip breaks very easily.
If you wanna know what its like owning this worthless tuner, take your money. Disappointing to say the least. Luckily, it turns itself off after 10 minutes of non-use. Great idea poorly executed.
A very small right angle in the plastic tab bent and ultimately failed.
Highlights
Quality

I used this tuner on a martin guitar, it work great and is very slim and unnoticeable.
The tuner fell off into the sound hole and the plastic tab broke off.

This product is only what it should do for the price.
For the price it is discrete and has decent build quality.
Packaging/appearance

Competitiveness
I did have the head stock version of this tuner though, the sound hole tuner is more accurate than the head stock tuner.
I play acoustic nylon string guitars so read a few comparison reviews to find the best one when i came across the sound hole tu... Read More

Its location not only makes it discreet but seems to make it a lot less squirrelly in terms of accuracy than a tuner attached to the headstock
