Playing feel, honestly, about the same as any other roundwound non-coated string. When going into lead parts there is a rawness to is that is unmatched. Nyxls objectively stay in tune longer than any other string.

The d’addario xt acoustics on the mitchell are horrendous. String 4 is the incorrect gauge.

I haven't tried better strings yet, and for the price i might never.

First i played with a fairly new set of daddario pure nickel, then put on the nyxl set.

Then, last year, i bought a strandberg boden, and i kept snapping my high e, because the ball kept unwinding in the saddle.

I'm happy to pay the nyxl premium because nyxls objectively stay in tune longer than any other string i've tried.

These nyxl strings are only a few bucks more than a standard d’addario pack.

I have tried a good majority of strings from the big brands.
