Pros & Cons
Pros
The 100-45 half-round strings provide tighter tension. No fret buzz with the 2 frets. They hold a tuning very well even in drop tuning.
These strings are right in the middle of super slinky ernie ball strings and dr flatwound strings. They are very smooth, like a flat wound set. Not muddy like flats at all!
Cons
The strangest thing about these strings is the wild inconsistency among the strings in the package. The e string is the worst, it has no definition or sustain at all. This one alone renders the whole set of strings unplayable.
Very muffled sound and zero sustain. Kind of muted or dim, no sustain of whatsoever. It sounds fine but is incredibly annoying to feel under your finger when fretting there.
After a setup adjustment, the string is still out of intonation. And it's not as advertised.
These sound more like a fretless stand up than a fretted electric. They are so flat that they have that old r&b thud sound without the need of a foam mute.
Highlights
Quality
They sound great and are the most comfortable strings i’ve tried.
This set is on a full custom i did and i installed the hipshot tremolo bridge and a graphtech nut.
Not rubbery or flabby at at all.
Good quality, the tone is still pretty bassy, not a good string for rock or metal, maybe jazz or reggae.
Price
D'addario makes great strings at a good value.
Shipping
Fast delivery perfect strings for long scale bass.
Competitiveness
Will never use a different brand even if i buy a different type of strings again

Not sure why they are so sticky at first but they get much better the more you play them
