Tuning Stability
Customers have mixed experiences with the tuning stability of D'Addario XT Silver Plated Copper Classical Guitar Strings Extra Hard Tension (XTC44). While some report excellent tuning and long-lasting hold, others find them difficult to keep in tune. The strings are responsive but may require additional tension for certain instruments and players.
Highlights
Quality
They offer good sound and quality and last a reasonable amount of time.
These are made to be durable and i haven’t begun to stress them out.
I've had trouble, for years, with the nylon strings slipping / going out of tune, no matter which technique i used to tie them.
Once they were tuned (using an iphone app) my teen was back in business and strumming away happily.
Price
Good price and they sound really good.
These strings have the tone i want for the price i like.
I paid $6 more for the xtc's.
You get what you pay for most of the time.
Shipping
I haven't had them but a month and they have settled in well.
Packaging/appearance
Their reasonably priced and their packaging is clear and easy to read/understand.
Competitiveness
I had a havendi set before and my comparison is based on my experience with that set.
The havendi had a warmer and more classical style sound although the sound was not as powerful as this one.
