Quality

I really had no clue what a difference new strings would make to the quality of sound on my violin.

Overall, i've been pretty impressed with the sound and playability of these strings.

I was not happy with the e string, it was not a great sound.

But i like the sound and feel of the zyex too much, and i've come back.

Price

The price is very good for a complete set of good violin strings.

The price is right and quite a value in my opinion.

Packaging/appearance

These are good strings overall, they come in cheap crappy packaging and once you slap them on they sound good and feel good.

I try other strings but keep coming back to the zyex strings.

Competitiveness

Compared to helicores, zyex have more oomph and nuance in the low end.

The fiddlerman had a utube blog about these strings and after hearing them live, i was very impressed.

I can buy two sets of zyex for what i was paying for the famous competitors.
