Pros
It's the ideal size for my work space and what i do (lots of vegetarian cooking for one) with a fine cutting surface. It is big enough for me to chop a lot of vegetables and i like that it has rounded edges.
The bamboo seems to be high quality and thick enough that it will help prevent the board from warping or splitting. It is also lightweight enough to move around the kitchen as needed. Really nice and hefty board. The only reason i am not 100% satisfie... Read More
The material is laminated without any noticeable voids. It cleans up nicely with soap and water. Had to wash it a few times and set it out in the sun a few days before it was fully cured and ready for use.
Bamboo is a very rugged material, it holds up well to cutting. The board is fairly thick, so it does not dance around the counter while you are slicing and dicing on it.

Our cutting board is much larger than this one and i am afraid if i give him this cutting board for christmas that hell think its too small and wont want to use it
