Pros

This dice tray is a great way to keep your dice from rolling all over the table and into miniatures, off the edge, or to other inconvenient places. The felt on the bottom makes sliding it to the next person very easy and also very quiet. This makes ro...  Read More

The felt covers the inside of the lip and the entire bottom of the tray, both of which are nice. I think that the felt covering the interior sides is a good bonus since it helps eliminate the loud clatter of the dice.

There’s an assortment of sizes of story dice, gaming polyhedral dice, and a ruler shot. Comes in a box that's roughly the same dimensions as a game box (only thinner) perfect for table-top gaming sessions.

Construction is solid quality with a nice felt bottom that cushions the roll of the dice. The flooring of it sounds like fiberboard of some kind, sturdy itself nonetheless.

Cons

The bottom part of the tray is essentially like particle board that is glued onto the wooden frame so it is flimsy. If you are looking for something that lasts, and of good quality - this isn't it.

Wood and felt construction gives a nice solid but muffled sound as dice are rolled and the edges though not real high stop all but the wildest of rolls from escaping

It has felt padding on the bottom so will not scuff the surface of our kitchen table

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Having the dice scatter all over the table and on the floor is so inconvenient

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The sides are just high enough to roll against but low enough for everyone to still see what your rolled

The one i received differs slightly from the picture in that the interior sides as well as the floor of the dice try are covered in green felt

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Id give this product 5 stars but the felt they used is junk—to the extent that a friend scoffs at the use of the term felt in it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its more like a scratchproof green lining

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Coarse and thin with no pile at all the main purpose of the felt seems to be to keep the dice from marring the appearance of the inside of the tray
