Pros

The amazon essentials midi dress is a wardrobe staple for my daughter. It's the perfect little stable dress for layering with cardigans or jackets. They skim the body, don’t cling, and hold up to laundering.

The fabric is stretchy, and flowy, without being too light or flimsy. The only two drawbacks are that it doesn't have pockets, and the armholes are a little long on me so my bra shows on the sides.

The xxl fits perfectly. Runs a bit big so size down. Waist elastic is also comfy even in xl size.

The material is nice. Hope they restock more & more colors. The length with the side scallop is really flattering.

Cons

After two wears, no washes, the fabric is so pilled that i will not wear the dress again. The pilling is in areas that are unrelated to wear/friction. The fit is not at all flattering and the fabric has a strong chemical smell.

The sizing runs small, and the armholes are oddly positioned, causing discomfort and restricting movement. They also run extremely small. Secondly, the fit is completely off.
