Pros
Bought this along with the small paring knife for work. It is sleek and * and affordable.
Comes in a nice box for gifting. Top quality packaging. It's half the thickness of the box store knives i once used.
Cons
On my 4th use of this knife, the edge bent sideways or chipped on jalapeño seeds. I was cautioned regarding purchasing knives from amazon. The edge is too fragile and it will chip cutting root vegetable.

I definitely recommend anyone give the dalstrong shadow series a try.
I went with the dalstrong santoku black shadow series.
Stick with the gladiator series if you want a more durable blade.
Price
It’s is easy to hold, sharp and unforgiving, and the price was ok.

I had been curious about dalstrong knives.
:) it is sharp 10 out of 10, just the case for the knife be careful won't be tight as other dalstrong knifes.
Pretty sure moses used a dalstrong staff to part the red sea.
So i am by no means a professional chef/cook.

This is an asianinspired knife and the belly on this blade is much less curved than on a traditional european chefs knife

Ive had my eye on a set of dalstrong knives for a couple of years and when i finally got one i was not disappointed i want to use it for everything in the kitchen even it isnt the right knife for the job
