Pros

The bolster is sturdy but light and cuts like butter through a big ol hunk of meat. The 12 inch blade makes breaking down big fish, like marlin, a breeze. One of my favorite things to make are ribs and this works like a charm.

The box it comes in is a beautiful box worthy of gifting. This is lighter than the old one.

It's so sharp and ergonomically designed. It holds an edge very well. Balanced nice and a great edge out of the box.

Very comfortable knife. Easy to use.

Cons

Im a butcher and these knives are an embarassment. I have 8 stones ceramic and steel rods blahblahblah and have put waaaay to much time into sharpening this knife. I’m also not happy with the sheath.
