Pros

Sharp as a scalpel and feels great in hand. Factory sharpness is pretty good. Just wish it was sharper is all. I also have the sharpening stone set as well as the nomad knife roll.

The sweep of the kiritsuke means that slicing and chopping motions are as smooth as the motion of the ocean. This knife stands up there with the best tools that sit above my workbench.

The handle is thicker than some may anticipate. As a metal handled knife, any bum makes the whole knife ring out like a chime.

Ergonomically, the balance is excellent. Not only is it functional, but the presentation is freaking cool. Loved the design and weight.

Cons

This is not acceptable for the price i paid. Will probably return and get something else.

I think i’ll order the one with the serrated edge.
