There is no danger of slippage or any way knife could fall off. The construction is sturdy, and it should hold up well. The magnet on these are very very strong!

The spire has a small footprint, so it takes up only a small amount of room on your kitchen counter, while storing up to 12 knives. Very attractive method of storing knives on the counter. My only complaint is that it’s not very bottom heavy.

Cons

The magnets are too strong. I love the idea and design of this product and tried to overlook the glaring flaws i found but my ocd wouldnt let me continue to do so.
