Pros

These are truly a beautifully crafted set, built for and crafted for those with appreciation of fine cutlery. Made in the damascus style of layering steel. Design with the damascus layering is stylish, unique for the set, and artistic.

Great customer service. The knives themselves are fantastic. The company itself is pretty amazing.

Classy yet classic working knives. Looks so stunning my guest notice them from a far. These knives are great so far.

Most sets include poor quality kitchen shears or various utility knives you'll never use.

They get used and immediately hand-washed, dried, and hung back up.

They are expensive but i think they are worth paying top dollar for them.

Tl;dr: the price is only too much if you hate cooking, don't buy 300 dollar snow boots that last a lifetime if you live in hawaii

I initially had a few questions and the customer service was quick to respond and so eager to help answer all my questions.

So and update after sending an email to dahlstrong they responded quickly and are sending me 3 of the knife sheaths for free.
