Pros

The only critique (and it's a small thing) is the dowel plug that covers the screw that holds the metal rod handles in place. It stands out as being different than the teak wood. You won't be disappointed with this knife.

It comes in a suitcase of a box and is vacuum sealed inside the box. I leave it on the counter and it's now the focal point of the kitchen.

After treating he board with several coats of mineral oil and bees wax, the depth and beauty shines through. This cutting board has so many strong points that it displaces everything/cutting board you have used before it.

Love the design and sturdiness of this cutting board.

The board is heavy and huge and takes up my entire stove top.

Used only ones,washed just once and every week used the special oil for wood cutting boards,but this still happened.

For the money i thought it should be a bit bigger.

He doesn’t want to use it because it was so expensive though!

Update 2/24/23 i contacted dalstrong and received excellent customer service.

They r sending me a new board great customer service!

Packaging/appearance

It came in a vaccum sealed bag and pre-oiled.

Box fell apart due to water damage while bringing it inside after i got home from work today.

The brown box that was delivered was destroyed, but the dalstrong box and packaging was pristine and the cutting board was undamaged.

The way it came packed was amazing.
