Pros & Cons
Pros
Sharper than the razor i use to shave with. Just use a wet stone for it every 2-3 months imo to keep it razor sharp. It is still keenly sharp without once reaching for my ceramic boning rod. I sharpen it regularly and hand wash it.

Shogun nakiri knife glides through mounds of vegetables effortlessly. Easily glided through raw chicken thighs and veggies. You just glide through whatever you are cutting and it makes the chore enjoyable.
The knife definitely passes the paper test. Thank you dalstrong for your awesome products, and your even more awesome customer service.
Cons
Don't pay for flash. That is totally unacceptable. Do not buy this knife, it’s junk.
The product i recieved looks nothing like what was presented. Looks are not fantastic, it is shiny, but looks cheap shiny. It is just a rip-off.

Competitiveness
This one came with a nice sheath, polishing cloth, blade care booklet, and a dalstrong pin.
We have about six dalstrong knives and love them all.
It amazes me how impossible it seems for non-japanese cutlers to produce reasonable competitors to japanese cutlery.
I am not a chef, but i am a professional cook.
