Pros & Cons
Pros
The flat blade makes chopping vegetables easy. The sheath that comes with it is nice to protect the blade. I was honestly fairly impressed with this pretty much cleaver of a knife.
Watermelon tremble at the sight of this knife. This knife is hefty in a good way. The two knives i gifted him, are heavier in his hand than any we have.
Have been coveting this knife for several months and finally decided to make the purchase. Was blown away by the attention to detail in the packaging. Even my wife, who does not have great knife skills loves it.
The only caveats are that it is a bit heavy and the handle is large. Handle is comfortable to grip and is holding an edge quite well. The only minor defect is the tang can be felt if you drag your nail over the handle.
Cons
Heavy and clumsy to use. Rubbish is cheap.

While it seemed a little heavy for me it did a great job cutting and chopping veggies for a pasta salad to feed twenty five people.
Competitiveness
Compared to a aisyoko knife it's dull.
