Pros

Extremely sharp out of the box, good flex, balanced, great fit and finish. The blade has a nice stiff flex feel which lends itself very well to its purpose. It's razor sharp and holds an edge for a long time.

Seller amazing transaction in every way. Received yesterday, and used today to debone an entire chicken in minutes. Very polite and very helpful.

The dalstrong boning filet knife came packaged in a very nice flip open box including instructions, cleaning cloth, padded snap close blade protection sheath, and of course the beautiful boning knife. Love these knives.

Cons

Once i sharpened it, it has next to zero edge retention, becomes dull after minutes of intended use. Was excited to try this brand and the phantom product line. Lots of hype and marketing throughout social media. Absolute garbage knife.

The knife has good weight and balance, the blade is strong yet flexible and comes pretty sharp.

Used it for 10 months as still cuts like brand new,

What a great value for the price

They have sent me a knife at no cost to me and insured me that i recieved a defective knife.

Definitely a good deal for the money.

That residue though is a little off putting for a 65$ knife

Was very surprised to see the packaging of this work of art.

First, this knife comes beautifully packaged in a nice box with sheath, care instructions and a couple "dalstrong" trinkets.

Competitiveness

World class knives, at a fraction of the price of competitors (not to downplay the competitors, miyabi, shun, yaxell, etc.

I use a knife everyday at work and so far it's better than any other i've used.

For the price, this is comparable to a wusthof that is 2-3x the price.
