Update- dalstrong contacted me and immediately sent me a replacement knife.

Packaging/appearance

It comes beautifully packaged, and it is sharp as a razor.

The carving knife comes well packaged and in a nice looking box.

Great packaging is followed up by a wicked sharp blade.

For some reason it was not put inside of a box, the product box itself was only wrapped in plastic.
