Pros & Cons
Pros
The bolster fits naturally in thumb and forefinger for good point-tip, edge, and heel control. The handle is heavier than the blade but i do like it that way so i have more grip.
Heel ocking, tip chopping, edge slicing are enjoyable with this implement. We do a lot of butchering and meat processing and this knife tackles each job with no problem. Love the feel in my hand and the curve of the blade makes cutting veggies a breez... Read More
I definitively recommend this knife, it's the first dalstrong i buy and will be purchasing more of their products in the future. You won't be disappointed. Nicely done.
They come beautifully packaged. Meanwhile the fit and finish of its construction makes me admire this companies work.
Highlights
Quality
Absolute art piece, as well as surgical precision!
Sturdy, sharp, easy to hold…gets the job done.
The knife itself is built with dalstrong high quality.
The bad thing about this knife is the curved belly of the knife.
Price
All in all, best knife for under $100.
There prices however over the past several years have kept up and they are no longer the value they once were.
For the price of this knife, i expected a sharp blade to last longer.
Sorry victorinox, but you are no longer the bang for the buck you used to be.
Shipping
Didn’t care for the delayed delivery , otherwise perfect item.
Packaging/appearance
It came in nice packaging and was sharp when it was received.
I would also like to mention another reason i like this knife is because of the customer service i had a problem with the first... Read More
Competitiveness
I will also be looking into dalstrongs other lines of knives as well for my home kitchen.
I have given glowing reviews to other dalstrong knives i own.
I have other knives that i bought that were less expensive, and i knew that i'd be sharpening them regularly as a trade off.
