Pros
They don't get soggy from sweat like cotton socks do. In cool hunting weather, my feet sweat so much in these.
Very comfortable. Incredibly durable. Fit is a personal thing and ymmv as they say. I do a lot of walking and hiking and these socks are the most comfortable i have worn.

I normally wear an 1111 12 size shoesneaker but i think the large would have been too small after washing them

So if you are going to wash and machine dry them i would consider going a size up
