The padding on theses is definitely thin especially compared to socks like thorlo but the wool gives the socks a nice dense material which should be comfortable and wear well
You could theoretically buy one or two pair of these socks and continue wearing the same one or two pair for life because if they ever fail they will be replaced free of charge
