Hand washing and hand drying creates a less snug fit. There is a small letter "l" as part of the stitching on inside top of the left sock so it's easy to tell left from right. This style is slightly thicker because of the padded areas.

Happy with these for downhill skiing. Great sock for warmer weather skiing. Almost 20 miles of hiking over rocks.

These socks are very soft and cushy! Fits well with no bunching and seams are all flat. They really add a lot of comfort, especially with the cushion areas on top of the foot, and on the sides at the widest part.

Fantastic socks, especially worn with mucks or other outside work boots. Don't make your feet sweaty even when you are in them all day in boots. My feet are always the perfect temp in them and they do not wear down easy.

These socks are too big in the toe area and thinner than i was expecting. They are very tight all over, including the calves. My toes are extremely cold within an hour of starting to ski.
