Pros

The darn tough mix of fibers is the perfect ratio of merino to synthetic. They also wash well. My only quibble is how bearded they got after just a few hikes and machine washes.

These socks are terrific! Tried one pair and bought another. Bought 5 pairs of these to wear on a trip to disneyworld.

I tend to use the thinner darn tough running socks in the summer, as i live near the border to mexico, and they actually cause my feet to sweat more during those months.

Large socks work great even if they do shrink a bit when you wash them. They fit tight- not a sloppy sock at all! They fit perfect, not too tight and room to wiggle your toes!

Cons

It's not wool (as evidenced by my cold, soaking wet foot after a day on the trail) they are not darn tough and i wish i could get a refund. It says lifetime guarantee on the packaging, but i cannot imagine saving the packaging from my socks in case i ... Read More
