Pros
Just completed a 12 day trek at philmont with 5 pairs of darn tough socks (65 miles) these socks are the only ones you need for hiking. Feels a bit weird at first due to the merino wool.
They are expensive initially but more than worth it. They still fit because i'm right at the cusp of the size difference.
Cons
Sock fits, but it only goes half way up my calf. They are not x-large.
The crew length feels low and girlie. The wool retains sweat making it worse for blisters. Surprisingly thin and lacking in moisture management.

Amazing usa quality, so comfortable, if you want a merino sock, you can’t go wrong with this one!
What sets these socks apart for me are they are thin like cotton socks, not big puffy things like you get with the average wool socks.
It's hard to beat a quality pair of socks!

The product is five stars, but the price is crazy high.
Competitiveness
Seem to hug my mid foot better than my smartwool socks.
However, these darn tough socks are holding up like a champ, as they should with a lifetime warranty!

Being nice and soft they are also slippery

This means sliding a shoe on is even easier but i normally wear my shoes kind of loose so these socks are prone to slipping around in the shoe
