Yes they are expensive but yes they are worth it.
I read about these in the ny times and figured i’d give them a try despite their being a bit pricey.
Competitiveness
Not something that’s crazy soft but i do like them more than any major sock brand.
The only problem with these is that it's hard to go back to other socks, so you end up buying more.

I usually start getting hot spots after hiking 3 miles with a heavy pack blisters after 6 for sure but when i had to do a timed 9 mile hike i just had to try something new
