Pros & Cons
Pros
They have a bit more merino in them than other darn tough socks. They are extremely comfortable and even more so durable.
You can pick these out, it’s quick and easy for the most part, but if you don’t you’ll have splinters stabbing you in the foot. They pair exceptionally well with my ankle-high boots, making them perfect for muddy seasons and outdoor adventures. In the... Read More
My first pair of darn tough socks. They are as they say, pretty darn tough. Their lifetime warranty is great, but requires you to send the worn socks back in.
Cons
Xl socks are too small for someone who buys size us 12 shoes. Length is fine but the ankle-to-heel bend is nowhere near big enough. The heel of the sock is way too high, not over my heel but about 3-4 inches higher.
Highlights
Quality
He had another pair that have worn extremely well for 6 years so far so the quality lasts!

As for quality, i have never had to consider their warranty because i have had zero issues with the few pairs i own for a few years now.
Shipping
The table is heavy only problem we had was in shipping.
Packaging/appearance
I appreciate the size sewn into the sock (no tag) as well.
Competitiveness
In conclusion, the darn tough 1959-c-1023-06 hiker 1/4 midweight socks are a true winner.
I can’t sing their performance but they won’t be replacing my smartwool socks for ever day wear.
