Pros

Love these socks. Worth every penny. They are quite pricey but very good. These are gifts my grandson and son in law asked for.

They stay up, no slouching down my ankles. Planning to buy more lighter weight for warmer weather. Work in 100-120 degree summers, in steel toes.

Cons

If these socks are this company's idea of darn tough, they need to think again. Stick with wigwam wool. A warranty isn't worth diddly if i have to spend $ to replace them.

The fit is terrible if you are trying anything l-xxl. The seam on the big toe is excessive and is uncomfortable as *. They have no heat retention properties that i expect from wool sox, they are even colder to wear than normal socks.

I have been a fan of good quality socks for about 10 years now.

Since this is a christmas gift, i cannot review the wear of the product.

But the photos do not do the product justice.

Price

They seem expensive, but the comfort and longevity make paying the price worth it.

Price is high, but you get what you pay for.

The thing that initially interested me was the " made in usa" but the price seemed like a lot.

Shipping

They will send you new ones but the shipping and retail cost makes the warranty unusable.

I've tried a variety of brands in the past (smartwool, etc) and continue to appreciate the craftsmanship of darn tough's.

These socks are definitely unlike any other socks on the market at this price.
