Pros
They don't slide around, bunch up, or even smell very much from sweat. As a firefighter, we wear waterproof boots all day and my feet would always get super sweaty and my boots would stink within hours.
Darn tough merino wool socks are more expensive than other merino wool choices. They are expensive but they have a lifetime warranty. I don’t have any reservations now about them.
Darn tough is the best of all of 'em. Solid work boots coupled with these outstanding socks are the only choice.
Cons
These socks are no more comfortable than a pair of dickies socks. They're so tight around the ankle that they actually hurt. The tight calf size and high lycra spadex percent won't let me stretch them out.
These are over-priced sausage casings. It picks up a lot of fuzzballs and lint and it almost has rips on both socks. They are good quality but they shipped the wrong size.

It's hard to complain about the quality of this product and being an amputee 🦵, i only splurge on the best when it comes to footwear.
The xl is way too small, my big toe is about to stretch through the end and its painfully tight around my calf.
