Pros
Big fan & long time user of vermont-based darn tough socks. Just the best socks ever. Made in the usa one state over from us.
They are thicker and softer than some of their other socks. The extra cushion on the bottom is wicked comfy on long walks through the woods.
I wear a size 7 shoe and the small is just a bit snug but next size up would be too big. Good height for boots. Only thing is because they are thick, could make your shoes feel tight.
Great for going outdoors during the cold months or just for lounging around the house on a chilly day. Not really for those for super cold days (below zero) perfect socks for hiking.
Unlike cotton socks, these are worth hovering over through the laundering process to be sure not one of them is harmed or lost.
Cons
Reviewer says socks caused chafing on her heels. Sizes are too small on the heel and too large on the toe.
