Pros & Cons
Pros
The seller is very prompt to emails and customer service is excellent. Yes, they are expensive but they do appear to be worth every penny.
Warm, comfy and a little thicker than expected. These are definitely for colder activities. They get heavy use for both serious hiking and general day-to-day wear in boots on my commute to work.
The padding on the underside and the complete lack of seams make them the most comfortable socks i've ever found. An incredible sock.
Socks keep your feet alive after a long shift! Secondly, it's the socks that cling to your feet and are wet with sweat when you take your boots or shoes off. If you do get a bit of water in your boots they are great at wicking moisture away.
Highlights
Quality
Very well made socks, high quality, very comfortable and made to last a long time.
Darn tough socks are built to last, look good and keep your feet warm - but not hot.
They also failed after a month of heavy use as my toe burrowed right through.
They don’t bunch around the toes, they don’t crease underfoot, they wick sweat away from feet without dehydrating the skin.
Price
Yes, they are expensive but they do appear to be worth every penny.
A lot of money to pay for hiking socks but time will tell.
Comfortable socks a bit pricey but worth every penny
Shipping
The seller is very prompt to emails and customer service is excellent !
Packaging/appearance
As to the longevity, time will show, but they have a lifetime guarantee printed on the packaging.
Competitiveness
By comparison, i used to wear bridgedales, merino light hikers mostly, but not anymore.
I've bought merino wool socks before and i thought that they couldn't be bettered, but i was mistaken.
