Pros
Tilt it back slightly as popping gets going to keep fly away kernels from escaping. Makes great popcorn with hardly any kernels left unpopped.
Cons
This popcorn maker is at the bottom end of pricing and sometimes you get what you pay for. Tried troubleshooting. Still bad. Returned it for a refund. Going to donate.
The ratio to kernels to actual popped corn is 4 kernels to one popped corn. This one only pops about half thekernels, at best. It shoots out more unpopped kernels than popcorn.
The cup holding the butter melts it very slow and not fully. It just blows warm air now. Will go back to the old fashioned method of popping in a covered pot.

The clear plastic cover on top seems to get pretty hot so be careful when touching it
