Pros
The presto 04863 pops very well with a few unpopped kernels. The dash air popper pops a few more kernels and does it a little more quickly.
Cons
The only thing this machine can do is throw unpoped kennels all over your counter. It turn off every 20 seconds and couldn't get any kernals popped. Both times it spilled hot melted butter from the butter dish.

It is quiet, requires zero cleaning and maintenance, and looks great if you choose to leave it on some free counter space in the kitchen.
Price
My previous one billowed black smoke on third use so this is a huge improvement and was less than half the price.
Excellent air pop machine for the price.
You put the popcorn in and wait until its all poped, no burn popcorn and no spending 5$ on 3 bag of popcorn.
A very good deal for the price and does the job well.

This item arrived on time and worked perfectly.
The motor gave out after 1 year but within 2 days we had a new one arrive at our door.

Competitiveness
All things considered, the dah air popper was the better buy.
The design of the dash popper is more compact, in comparison to the presto 04863.
I was torn between this unit and another brand.

The only issue with this product is that the spout which directs the popcorn into your bowl does not extend very far and there is quite a bit of popcorn that hits my kitchen counter or floor while popping
