Pros

It certainly makes life a tad bit easier. I'm a gastric bypass patient so eggs are kind of my life. This one is, however, superior in several ways.

If your family loves deviled eggs, it's great tool to have. It cooks your eggs any way you want them. Can make 7 poached eggs at a time.

The dash rapid egg cooker checks all the boxes for lovers of hard boiled eggs. Place the non-punched 'pointy' end of the egg facing 'down' in the cooker. Larger cooker makes prep night before much faster.

Cons

I'm so tired of amazon selling junk. Was not impressed by this at all.

Eggs need to be cooked extra long to kill the bacteria. Cleaning is fine but with one usage the aluminum heating plate is grayed. I like to boil the number of eggs that i feel like boiling, not what a gadget tells me i have to do.

Light turns on when plugged but nothing happens. Cord is so short and in fact, it is too short. I want my money back or a replacement that actually works longer.

If you’re a hard boiled egg lover like i am you will not be disappointed!

You pop the eggs in the container, add the water with the included measuring cup, press the button, and walk away.

The heating surface (in direct contact with the water) is somewhat gross looking after 13 months.

At the price i recommend buying one or several for gifts.
