Pros

Pour 2/3 cup of batter onto the iron. It makes waffles. She says it doesn't stick and its life changing. Awesome waffle maker.

Small and easy to store, esthetically pleasing and works well. Liked the size of the waffle with the larger machine and the ease of cleaning. I have the mini and it does great.

Cons

Used one time and returned for refund. I was refunded my money a day or two later. It does a lousy job.

Anywhere on the surface gets overheated. Underdone on top, overdone on the bottom. All of my dishes have come out burned on the outside and doughy on the inside.

It has such good reviews, but mine was defective. The photos depict 2 entirely different waffle makers. All of the reviews about the clip getting too hot and being wonky are somewhat accurate.

It seems like they changed the nonstick coating. The plates aren't removable. The waffles must be manually checked for doneness.

It makes a lot of strange noises too groaning, grunting and sighing. Sounded like fireworks.

Really a quality unit i have used it several times already and am very pleased.

Warms up quickly can make variety nice size waffles and it’s easy clean up compact storage.

Non stick spray is mandatory unless you want your waffle to rip in half

It was sticking all the time and not browning the waffles anymore.

For the price it does what it's supposed to do.

Competitiveness

I have had several waffle machines, and dash is the best one i have.

I tried a different brand that had removable plates, but i couldn't get them brown enough or crisp enough.
