Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons
The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

It really protects you from getting your fingers caught. If used as recommended this is a much safer option than the open blade style. With zero risk of cutting yourselves.

Whoever invented this is a genius. This thing is the bomb! Highly recommend it.

Top rack dishwasher safe. Easy to clean, folds to take less space &works better than my former mandolin. It is a little tricky to wash out, as you have to move things a bit to make sure food particles aren't hiding in crevices.

Cons

It's almost impossible to clean. It also doesn't dice well.

This slicer is too messy and will hang on to what you're slicing to some degree. Cuts are odd and inconsistent. Buy a nice chopping knife instead. The feeding shoot is to small it shows it slicing potatoes but you have to have small potatoes.

Quality

So easy to use & great safety features.

Easy to use, has many dials ( still learning as i try different ones) easy to clean without slicing my fingers.

Made cutting carrots quick and easy; however the carrots stained it already after the first use.

Had the traditional mandoline for few years but used it only few times for the fear of cuts and nips which happened just about every time.

Price

I'd have paid 20$ more if they make a non-stick metal version of this thing, because the product would be perfect.

Overall, i'd love to see a bigger stainless steel version of this, but for the price, this is perfect.

So if the company is reading this: make it nonstick & add replaceable blades (even overpriced ones) and you'll earn a lifetime ...  Read More

Shipping

I got my order couple of days ago and have already used it twice.

It was delivered in a timely manner.

Competitiveness

And i'm talking mostly name brands too -- oxo, mueller, cuisinart.
