It's nearly indescribable how much i identified with this novel. This book is a combination of political intrigue, romance, and personal triumph.



Cons

The spine has to be broken/creased for me to comfortably read to the end of the sentences. While it's not super small like a mass paper back, it's too thick to be this small. Which brings me to my main issue with the physical book.

Penguin is the mass market copy i go to because i enjoy the quality of the footnotes, as well as the cover art.

The quality of the book is excellent and the shipping was fast.

Some of the old english was incomprehensible to me, but that did not distract from the reading.

    Heres a passage that i liked from pretty early on 34in short i was not a favorite there with anybody not even with myself for those who did like me could not show it and those who did not showed it so plainly that i had a sensitive consciousness of always appearing constrained boorish and dull

    You cant blame the poor guy really he was paid by the word so he squeezed as many of them as he could into his novels at least thats the story
