Pros

The espresso color is attractive and fits well in our green nursery. The expresso is a great color! Dark finish is beautiful. Great crib for my grandchild.

With our square mattress, the corners seem to get pushed up a little bit, so the mattress doesn't lie exactly flat. I keep pushing them down and the mattress seems to be conforming to the crib better now. Great as a toddler bed and crib.

It's real wood and our little one gnawed the edges with no harm. The only down fall is that the wood is extremely soft and can get blemishes easily. Yes, there are scratched, but it is sturdy and i love that it is convertible.

Cons

If you touch this crib it scratches. Seriously rediculous how this scratches so easily. The entire frame is flimsy, not sturdy at all. Tape wrapping around box looks old.

It's advertised as convertible, but my husband has partially disassembled it twice in two months. The metal rack that holds the mattress bent very easily and then the bracket snapped off.

Crib came in a large box with no issues of damage to the item.

Although, the crib was very well packed, padded, and wrapped when it arrived it had a few scratches on it.

Competitiveness

I contemplated getting a different brand or even a hand me down, but nope, i knew this was a tried and true crib.

Now i'm looking for the same crib and sad they don't have this anymore even at the davinchi site.
