Taste
Customers have mixed opinions on the taste of DaVinci Gourmet Pricky Pear Syrup. While some customers praise its great aroma, nice taste, and ability to dissolve well, others find it too sweet or disagree with its taste, which is described as burnt caramel, chemicals, artificial, or not tasting like the real thing. Some customers were disappointed that it did not taste like expected flavors such as pumpkin or peanut butter. Additionally, some customers mentioned issues with dissolving in milk and returning the product due to its non-sugar free nature.
Highlights
Quality
Added this syrup to the existing mix, and immediately got the taste and texture match we were looking for!
Very much like honey and it dissolves wonderfully
It just unscrews and you have to use a measuring spoon, buy a spout or just take your chances.
A good texture, flavor, the level of sugar is not very high, but of course could have been even lower to be healthier, but is ok.
Price
Is reasonably priced and comes in a pretty bottle.
Competitiveness
The bottle contains more than the other coffee syrups i've been buying.
I had purchased this to use as pancake & waffle syrup since i can no longer find the knoxberry farm version.
This syrup is just as good if not better than its pricier competitors.
Way better than other syrups and the price is much better .
