Pros

Matte black finish - maybe semi semi gloss. Goes great with the rest of the furniture in my daughter and soon-to-be son's room. The paint quality is immaculant.

The bed is very beautiful! This bed is adorable and i would recommend it for any toddler! My 4-year-old loves his big boy bed. Really cute bed.

The styling is great and our crib mattress fits with no gaps. Crib sheet and comforter work. A standard crib fits perfectly.

It is perfect for our 2 yr old. We are so pleased to have purchased it. I think it would have been nice if there were caps to cover the exposed screw holes.

Cons

There were at least ten paint chips and/or dents upon arrival. While pine isn't exactly sturdy either, the description saying that these are solid nz pine is incorrect.
