Pros

The crib/bed conversion is easy to do on your own. I wish they would up the price of the crib and just include this conversion kit with it.

The only way it could have been easier is if it came with a genie to do it for me. Ridiculously easy to install. Replacing the big front panel and installing this makes a world of difference.

The crib is convertible such that the opening can be on the left or the right. It's exactly as pictured, and slides right between the sides of the crib.

This rail looks sooo much better than the universal toddler rails. My only complaint is that because of the need to overstate safety instructions, there was a huge white sticker on one side of this crib. The conversion kit consists of the rail 4 screw... Read More

Cons

When removing the crib side for the conversion, visible deep bolt holes are left on the upper rails. There is no provision for capping or otherwise concealing them. Also the directions are for a completely different crib and weren't helpful at all.
