Pros

The book is a smidge larger that a trade paperback. I'm very pleased to finally be able to add this volume to my bookshelf, but must admit a little disappointed by how out of place it looks. I hope some day we get the audio book released.

Brandon sanderson is an exceptional story teller. He weaves his characters so well that you grieve when they grieve, laugh at their mistakes, and groan at their failures. The surprising foreshadowing of some conversations between characters to develop...  Read More

I was stoked to get to this novella. Despite what he says about his not excelling at short stories, this book delivers.

Another perfectly paced addition to the cosmere. This expands the cosmere and flushes out some characters. It is a compact well focused story that sheds more light on the mystery.

Brandon sanderson’s novella dawnshard focuses on the quest to a mysterious island of aimia that has ramifications not only for roshar, but also to the cosmere as a whole. This book fills in a bunch of gaps between oathbringer and rythm of war. It is o...  Read More

Just like mental illness and its effects on not talking about it in stormlight this book allowed me to peek into the human behind the disability not the disability itself
