Pros
Double sided board is great, 2 for 1! Great having two different sides to play on (world map and great lakes) takes a little longer to learn than other ticket-to-ride versions.
We play the orginal one but that one is, for us, way better. This one is more challenging in a good way. This game presents a new set of challenges!
Great game. Arrived as scheduled. Was a great deal for the game.
Cons
You also have to deal with harbours, which throw in additional complications into an already tangled mess of decisions the player has to make. All of the added mechanics were just designed to slow everyone down and turn the game more into player vs.

Also the original ticket to ride is great if you want to play a game that takes less than an hour while this rails and sails version would take more than an hour depending on number of people and how familiar they are with the game
